The major challenge in today’s world is to combat from emissions, wherein industries, transport and automobile sector has bigger role to play. The discussion at Global Platforms; United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) under Paris Agreement has united the several countries to work on the reducing emissions. Many countries and Industry Giants are working very aggressively to identify and innovate the technologies to curtail down this Global issue.
Government of India has taken various initiatives which includes promoting Bioenergy which is derived from various agricultural inputs, biological waste, agricultural residue and Municipal Solid Waste. The Global Biofuel Alliance announced by Shri Narendra Modi, Hon'ble Prime Minister of India at G-20 will provide the impetus to Bioenergy Sector and creating international ties.

To promote the Bioenergy Sector in India, Indian Federation of Green Energy (IFGE) & MM Activ Sci - Tech Communications are jointly organizing 2nd Edition of India Bio Energy & Tech Expo: An International Conference and Exhibition on Bioenergy and Technologies from September 24-26, 2025 at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, New Delhi.
The Expo will be focused on Bio Energy and Technologies involved as the sector is picking pace in term of combating environmental externalities. The emerging sources of Bio Energy are Compressed Biogas (CBG), Biomass Pellets and Briquettes, Ethanol, Bio-Diesel, Waste to Energy, Bio-Mobility, Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). The demand of Bio Energy and its various sources are increasing as the target of achieving Net Zero by 2070 would also be supported and contributed by bio energy.
